A fun, easy cowl in two versions—one tall, one wide. Each version takes only 100 grams of sock yarn, making it the perfect project for that special color that you just can’t live without!

Tall {Wide}

Finished circumference: 21 {42}”

Finished height: 12 {7}”

  • 100g sock yarn, providing at least 350 yards
  • US 4 (3.5mm) 16” {32”} circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle

23 stitches = 4” in Echinacea pattern, after blocking

  • Gauge is not terribly critical to this project, but if you’re making the Tall version and you’re a tight knitter, I would recommend increasing your needle size
  • Samples shown used 2 skeins each of Koigu KPPPM
